It’s a new year, and a fresh chance to establish aspirations and work towards accomplishing them. Having dreams is truly remarkable, as they provide a beacon of light amidst the darkness, helping us persevere through tough times.
However, unless you actively chase your dreams, they will forever remain distant illusions.

Whenever I see tumbleweed, I am reminded of someone brimming with dreams and incredible ideas. The wind blows the tumbleweed, causing it to roll and scatter its seeds. Imagine yourself as a tumbleweed, rolling across the barren desert, your dreams scattered like seeds in the wind. As the wind blows (as time goes), the seeds get dispersed (you speak about your dreams). And that is where those dreams will stay, on your one day list. One day when I retire, one day when I have more money, one day when I have more time, one day... Dreams need to be chased with unwavering determination, otherwise they are just tumbleweeds getting blown across a barren landscape.
You can't simply point at a plant and assume it originated from a tumbleweed. And that is exactly what happens to our ideas when we just dream - they remain intangible and elusive. Take that seed (that dream or idea), gently bury it in the soil (start actively doing something with it), nourish it with water, so it can grow a root (set goals and stick to them), and nurture its growth (market your idea).

Dreams don't happen when a fairy godmother waves her magical wand. To chase a dream and make it a reality costs determination and hard work.
Unlike tumbleweed that blows across a barren landscape, chasing dreams and goals means putting down roots in the soil, and letting them grow.
